Job: Technical Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

Experience within the full life cycle from requirements elicitation through to UAT. You will be a technical Business Analyst who can define requirements, undertake project planning activities within a modified Agile environments (Sprint planning, Epics, User Stories, managing tickets in JIRA etc) and work closely with both business and technical teams. You may have been working as Product Owner and be comfortable in a role which sits somewhere between BA and PO.
As a Senior BA, you will therefore be required to work closely with business stakeholders to assist them with upgrading their business processes in addition to working closely with Product and Software Development teams on Technical BA tasks.

Required Skills:

• Proven track record as a Senior Business Analyst within the Financial Services/Investment Banking sector, preferably within Clearing
• Strong cross-product Asset Class knowledge
• Complete understanding of the Front to Back Trade Lifecycle, preferably within Equities
• In-depth understanding of Financial Services systems design, architecture and interfaces
• In-depth experience deploying Agile processes to deliver technical and systems change – user stories etc
• Proven track record of delivering Technical and Process Change as a Senior BA in complex Financial Services environments
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills – ability to liaise effectively with Business and Technology stakeholders

Experience in business process re-engineering, analysis, user requirement gathering & gap analysis
Experience in strategic data architectures, data warehouses, data marts, Business Intelligence and reporting
Experience working on all phases of the IT systems development life cycle, including an Agile methodology
Data mining and SQL skills to analyse data and data context
Any Python experience will be advantageous
