Experience as a Murex developer (Min 5 years)

Experience working on Murex implementation/upgrade/New Product Initiation.
Tacit knowledge of both exchange traded and OTC Derivatives – Full trade life cycle.
Product knowledge (Any) FX, IRD, FI, EQD, CRD

• Good understanding of Murex design principles and optimisation techniques
• Hands on experience on Unix system command and shell script programming
• Excellent understanding of Murex application architecture and the corresponding services
• SQL (Sybase and Oracle), Basic unix commands.

MxML Exchange

• MxML Data Dictionary formulas like XSL, XSLT, XMLF, XMLFBM etc
• MxML Tasks, MxML Exchange architecture and Datamodel
• Should be able to create new interfaces from scratch by interacting with business and IT stakeholders
• Familiarity with popular trade interfaces in the markets, like IceLink, MarkitWire, Markit, Bloomberg is a must
• Should be able to independently work on Murex projects along with key client stakeholder
• Excellent debugging skills

Manage integration of code change from development through to production environments. This role is associated with the management of the testing, build and implementation of SwapClear releases and also any independent infrastructure, environment or SwapClear aligned changes done by other applications.

Focus will be on delivering the change programme across all lifecycles from dev, test, uat to Member Test and Production environments. A production focused approach will be required with resilience, operational readiness, performance and production support being at the forefront of delivery. A technical foundation and background is necessary in order to support the team and understand the various components involved in the SwapClear application.

Key Responsibilities Supports the technology lifecycle through the design, build and maintenance of systems, software and applications to ensure the highest quality outcomes across the domains Schedules and coordinates code deployment, liaising with other areas of the business

Manages upgrades and coordinates internal and third parties where required Creates accurate documentation and monitors system performance to effectively contribute to business and continual improvement activities Supports in deploying emergent engineering across development teams. Out of hours support overnight and across weekends and Bank Holidays is frequently needed. Should be able to provide on-call support. Strong business knowledge is required for working with business teams during investigations.

Hands-on in version control repository (Ideally bitbucket) Understanding of product development lifecycle and methodologies Exposure to SQL, Spring Framework, Hibernate, Java Springboot, Ansible, Informatica, Maven, Geneos, Service Now will be an added advantage Experience in a Post Trade or Clearing service environment Familiarity with financial products and financial terms

This Business Analyst role is to work on a specific Murex 3.1.34 platform with a high degree of customisation of STP interfaces (from upstream trade capture systems, post trade, static and market data systems) and special valuation models accessed through FLEX.
A key responsibility is to ensure that the Pod functions as a team to deliver a high level of service to the desk, sharing expertise as required.

• Negotiating with the Business, Murex, IT development and support teams to ensure prioritisation of competing business and technical requirements
• Communicate with the Business, Murex, IT development and support teams to ensure successful requirements gathering
• Technical and Functional enhancement scoping
• Translating these requirements into design solutions
• Delivering high quality enhancements and developments for Projects to the systems within demanding timescales
• To ensure consistent architecture and business processes across Sites.
• Liaise with Murex (3rd party vendor) for core bug fixes
• Help with Go-Live and training to users and Support
• Releasing bug fixes to production
• Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures, specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy
