• Knowledge in Enterprise Integration Platform (EIP) and API design with implementation of any ESB tools (e.g. IIB , Mule, MQ, SpringBoot)

• Knowledge of DevOps, Microservice, Restful API, Agile concepts, API Design, Data modelling, RAML and JSON Schema.

• Knowledge of DevOps tooling such as Jenkins, Git, Jira/Confluence, AppD, Docker, Kubernetes

• Agile and scrum methodology

As an Enterprise Architect you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of the target architectures, roadmaps, and architecture strategy.

• Strong experience in developing/documenting Architecture Roadmaps, Standards & Patterns, Business problems including Scope, Functional and Non-functional Requirements, Solution Design as well as detailed architecture Blueprints (must have)

Experience/Requirements:

• A minimum of 8 years of IT experience of which 3+ years should be in a senior architect role.
• An up-to-date knowledge of latest technologies (including cloud-native technologies), technology trends, and third-party solutions.
• Strong knowledge of integration design patterns, industry best practices with experience of applying them to solve real-life problems.
• Financial and/or Banking industry experience preferred.
• TOGAF is beneficial.
• Oversight to project delivery to ensure alignment to strategy, architectural principles, and standards.
• Interact with the business stakeholders to ensure alignment with the corporate strategy.
• Provide Platform leads with information on key risks dependencies and impacts.
• Evaluate architecture / design of information technology systems and provide alternative solutions and recommend appropriate path for a product / project.
• Develop and maintain best practices, reference architectures and design patterns.

Provide the necessary thought leadership, analysis and design for developing a well-managed enterprise architecture.
Create deliverables that help establish a direction for managing the organisation’s portfolio of “as-is” and “to be” to align business outcome objectives.
You will update and consolidate our client’s core processing platforms and develop their digital journey providing improved customer experience, greater access to self-service facilities as well as faster turnaround times for new services.

Key Skills

• Advanced integration, orchestration, Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) and micro services architecture, including best practices for enterprise systems
• Financial Systems and associated platforms.
• Advanced skills in using Architecture description languages (ADLs) to support enterprise modelling techniques (UML)
• Advanced skills in integration solutions & ETL with enterprise tools.

Responsibilities

• Understand business drivers and required capabilities (future and current state), and determine corresponding enterprise system designs and change requirements to drive and support the business strategy.
• Design and lead the adoption of Enterprise Architecture across the line of business applications and technologies. Manage and develop the architecture for a broad scope of projects, working closely with application development and support teams.
• Monitor the current-state solution portfolio to identify deficiencies or lifecycle issues through the ageing of the technologies.
• Understand technology trends and the practical application of new, emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models.
• Analyse the technology industry, competitors and market trends, and determine their potential impact on the enterprise.
• Define the principles, guidelines, standards and solution patterns to ensure solution decisions are aligned with the enterprise’s future-state architecture vision.
• Identify the organisational impact (for example, on skills, processes, structures or culture) and financial impact of the enterprise architecture.
• Ensure that you fully understand and comply with the organisation’s Risk Management Policies as they relate to your area of responsibility and demonstrate in your day-to-day work that you put customers at the heart of everything you do.
• Fully understand and comply with the organisation’s Data Governance Policies as they relate to your area of responsibility and demonstrate in your day-to-day work that you treat data as an essential corporate asset which must be protected and managed.
